About

I am Andy

I did not arrive at this work through study alone. I arrived through my own quiet unravelling and the slow, imperfect path back.

The Homecoming Method

I grew up in Zimbabwe, surrounded by vast landscapes and rooted in the intelligence of wild nature. That early connection to the earth, to its rhythms, its rawness, its quiet intelligence, never left me. It became the foundation of everything I would later come to understand about the body and how it heals.

At seventeen, I moved to Italy and won a scholarship to study fine art at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. That experience taught me something I would only fully understand much later: how to see what is beneath the surface. How to sit with what cannot yet be spoken, and find a language for it.

I went on to build a 15-year career in global advertising. I learned to adapt, to perform, to push, and to override what I was feeling in order to keep moving forward. Over time, that disconnection showed up in my relationship with food, in exhaustion I could not explain, and in coping patterns that once helped me manage but slowly pulled me further from myself. My body was speaking. I just did not yet know how to listen.

On the outside I was capable, driven, held together. Inside, I had no idea how far I had drifted from myself.

After advertising, I returned to what I knew: teaching art to children and adults, using creative expression as a form of therapy and self-discovery. Through that work I discovered that art, like the body, goes where words cannot, into the hidden places where the soul waits to be seen.

My own healing did not arrive through one single method. It unfolded through nourishment, meditation, creativity, spiritual practice, plant medicine, and sobriety, through the slow rebuilding of safety in my body and in myself.

I trained in holistic nutrition and went deep into study, immersing myself in the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Taoist tonic herbalism, Ayurveda, and longevity science, not as separate systems but as different languages describing the same intelligence of life.

Through this, I came to understand the body as a living conversation between the Mind, the Heart, and the Gut, and through the subtler language of Jing, Qi, and Shen: Essence, Energy, and Spirit.

The Homecoming Method was not something I invented. It was something I observed, lived, tested, and returned to again and again.

I do not do this work because people need fixing. I do it because I have lived the slow return to coherence, a return I now call Homecoming.

In Their Words

"Working with Andy has been grounding and healing. There is an authenticity to what she does: a way of seeing the whole picture - food, body awareness, chi, meditation, spiritual connection - weaving traditions together into something whole. Last year we worked specifically on the healing power of food, which fundamentally shifted how I understand nourishment. This year we have gone deeper - into meditation, into what needs to be released, into what the body is actually holding.

After years of healing on parallel paths, this work has helped me consolidate, to continue the journey towards something more whole."
